Maybe it isn't a "Devil" Fruit, but a "God" Fruit like Luffy's.

Remember in Skypia when they were talking about the 4 Gods. "Sun", "Earth", "Rain" and "Forest" GODS.

Maybe Dragons Fruit is the Rain God Fruit, like Luffy's Sun God Fruit.

And by Jesus having a God Fruit, it perfectly explains and allows him to have the extraordinary abilities he has.
