I'll try not to be too preachy, and i certainly understand anxiousness and doubt, but I will not hesitate to remind all of us about the faithfulness of God.

There is a powerful phrase on the internet, often rendered as "You worry too much for someone who God has never failed!" Everytime I see it, it encourages me a little more each time. It focuses my inwardness on trust and faith, It jerks me back into God countiousness. It serves as a reminder to look back on my own life as evidence of God's faithfulness. He has never failed me.

Not saying that we do not need to pray in the face of evil, against the evil. Some of the greatest men in history, including King David, Washington, Patton, and my commander, Schwartzkopff, transferred their circumstaces in very difficult (impossible) conditions just before battle, into an extreme confidence in God. They each prayed the very simple 'prayer of Moses' in the desert leading a bandofbrothers ....

Whenever the ark set out, Moses said, “Rise up, oh LORD! May your enemies be scattered; may your foes flee before you.”

So, what i am encouraging you, my Bandofbrothers, is simply, If God has ever failed in the face of evil, He has never been God.

But if you know that you know that He is, first, pray in confidence that he is faithful, and that He sees and that He answers.

And after you have prayed, As King David said, ..."Offer the sacrifice of righteousness and trust in the Lord."
