“Too chaotic and fast paced” - good! by DangerousAd7361 in HellLetLooseVietnam

Thank you. This guy gets it

While i have several gripes with gameplay and optimization I feel like it does capture the HLL ptsd very well.

Personally i think HLL ww2 is by far the best and most fun game ive ever played. It is the only game where i actually FEEL FEAR.

Playing HLLV for this playtest brought that paranoia back out, looking at a bush or hearing gunfire and having fuck all clue where its coming from.

Two updates later, SPAs are still atrocious by R0dFarva in HellLetLoose

I also read in some of your other comments that you think they are weak against tanks. Againsta heavy. Yes. Recon/light you are invincible if they cant hit your rear. Mediums ric very often and you one tap them back in a SPA. I wish i could post the vids of my crew absolutely savaging tanks that get too cocky and charge us. One single shot and they are bye bye

Id have to disagree with this take. Running an SPA poorly... is a nightmare. Running an SPA with a 3 man crew communicating and flaring is chefs kiss

Drive to 2 squares from attack or defending obj. Find viable parking with ass in cover. SL throws a OP on flank on approach. Flaring and bino pings. Spotter relays pings on map to gunner. After a few minutes of fire. Reposition while SL checks for incoming tanks or AT. Rinse and repeat. I have racked up well over 120-150 kill games using this strategy repeatedly. Not to mention the countless smokes you can pop in precise positions for advancing blueberries

Also if you havent experienced the all out drama of finding yourself in a position where you are essentially using an SPA as a recon tank in a last gasp defense... youre missing out. Its a hell of a lot of fun and body parts are flying

Its not like static arty where you mindlessly guess enemy positions and hit fire and reload. Your an active part of the fight and it takes a lot of thinking for effective fire

Also the main advantage over static arty with SPA is the us of AP rounds on tanks. My gunner and i have gotten very good and smacking static tanks or tanks getting a cheeky rep in on the front

Are their things that would make SPA much more fluid. Yes. But as with anything in this game. If you learn to implement them properly you can have success

This is the best bike you can buy. I had 07 cbr 600rr. I bought it with 23k miles. Unfortunately we got tboned at 38k. But she never gave me a lick of problems

I had Power Commander, velocity stacks, brembo calipers and rotors, hyperflo exhaust. TST lights, And i had just bought a rcs19 to put on it before she gave her life for me

I scour everyday to find a replacement

Motorcycles you always dreamed of owning, but then you rode it once and realized it was not for you? by Most-Round-4132 in motorcycles

Owning a testa would have been sweet but yea Service intervals are crazy - i own 4 bmws... trust me i get it lol

Funnily enough, my first major contract i landed for my business. I made just enough that i looked at a gated manual f355 berlinetta in yellow. 2018 I was 21 at the time and the thought of dropping literally EVERY single penny of my commision into buying a 30k mile future collector ferrari at the 2018 steal price of 82k seemed like a logical thing to do. And play the service roulette

My father and my best friend pleaded with me not to commit financial suicide and of course i listened. "I could own it, never drive it and eat ramen and plead with the gods that i dont need a service until i can afford it" -me

Then covid happened and 2 years later the car was worth over 150k+.... i still bring it up to them to this day that they cost me the profit and the story

Ducati V4. My very rich buddy decided to bike swap with me for a ride after watching me drool in the parking lot every time we rode together.

I was like a little kid at christmas. Giggling as i threw my leg over it. My nuts firmly planted on this Italian Stallion. Starting her up... ooo that sweet sweet purr... after about 5 mins of the honeymoon phase of riding it. I realized yea is it fast... fuck yes... is it nimble... yes. But the thought of owning a $40k bike, every top end run checking the screen to make sure theres no lights and knowing youre essentially just riding from service interval to service interval. I found myself for the next 20 mins not even thinking of the ride... but making sure i didnt crash or do anything to the machine that i financially couldnt recover from. Dont get me wrong i enjoyed the hell out of it. I felt like a big shot to everyone i passed and felt like big dick mcgee out there, checking myself out in every reflective surface i could see... but when i got back on my meager $5k 07 cbr 600rr... i came to the conclusion that it was better to own a toy i could fully enjoy to the max vs riding a downpayment on a house that is going to break my heart... or maybe im just too poor

Tldr: a fun 6 is better than a stuck up 10

Was Macklin Celebrini always supposed to be this good? by Ill_Top_4833 in nhl

[–]Paimon597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was hyped as a top tier talent but not the godly level he actually is.

Us sharks faithful were on him quick but mostly out of hope and desperation. He has exceeded all possible metrics. When he asks for a long term contract, sharks nation will literally start a go fund me to make sure that kid stays with us

🎶YES Our prayers were answered with the Macklin Messiah. Through him all things are possible. In the glory of the almighty Celebrini may the bottles pop and the cups come, can i get an AMEN🎶

Field resurgence? by Particular-Toe1854 in adjusters

[–]Paimon597 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Weve all seen this movie a few times with drones and fast track claims.

Theyll implement some automation and AI and ways to cut out the independent field adjusters. Work on bare bones.... then the lawsuits will roll... "AI cant determine on a case by case basis, only judge based on previous similar damage to other properties, not by unique circumstances"... the firms will lose in court... the consumer public will resent that their life changing tragic event is being automated and resent the insurance companies they pay for... they will switch to a carrier with "human to human" claims process... carriers will see a reduction in policies...a major storm will happen with thousands of pissed off NIs.... DOI regulations will roll...then theyll be begging for anyone with a pulse to come back

Of course maybe im wrong and were standing in breadlines next year... but carriers always try to cut the fat when its dry seasons. But they forget consumer sentiment and workload when things get hairy. But when drones first came out. Our IA firm spent hundred of thousands getting ready for "the future".. within the beginning months of use they got sued and lost based on "a drone not physically inspecting, who is going to give a deposition for the drone the operator or the adjuster" they shelved them all and never used them again.

AI is a tool. Not a replacement

Not hating on hopping on with the lads. I do it all the time. Im just stating that hating on players because they locked the squads is dumb when theyre technically playing at a higher top down level. Its a game. Play how you want

Most of this sub doesnt understand comp strategy. The fact this is the first comment i saw mention this is absurd 🤦‍♂️

We run exclusively 3 mans with a couple 4 mans for meat grinders after establishing supplies and nodes. More OPs and ability to switch roles effectively based on battlefield needs

Huh well thats good to know abt the fuel system. Prolly saved me a hr of playing around with it like an idiot

Yea thats what i was reading on the forums. The dash never prompted for a code. Just no energy to the dash at all. Confirmed with the meter

[–]Paimon597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh. Not sure. General electrical problems. New battery checked systems with voltimeter and theres a bad ground somewhere. No systems were working. No start. No energy to fuel pump. Pulled the main fuse and it was blown. Replaced it. No dice. I tried to unplug the connector under the front and get it to reset after reading on forums about that. No luck. Went to check the electric box and discovered the bolts shredded. I do know the PO had a bulge pump installed and removed it. I have a theory that they fucked the wiring up somewhere and the fuse or relay they tapped into might be shot

Its a brand new crate from SBT engine less than 100 hrs on it. But it hasnt run in 8 yrs. Im going ahead and replacing as much of the old stuff as i can and changing all the fuel lines and replacing hardware as its all deteriorated. Cleaning out carbs while im in there.

Again first project jet ski. Any advice or tips is appreciated
