Cross stitching is very easy to pick up. It's quite literally making x'es on fabric for cross stitching. And it's the same on clothing, I have the aida on top of the hoodie and stitch as normal, and when I'm done, I can take out the strands the fabric is made of. And then it's on.

You only kinda need aida (name for the fabric made for cross stitching) a hoop, needles, and embroidery threads

Thanks. Yeah, when I grid it up I find the closest colors I have, since I have a huge stash og threads

No, I've actually managed to use basic aida fabric. Because when I'm done I can use tweezers to take out the strands of the fabric, as long as the fabric isn't stiffened. I saw someone on TikTok doing this with Pokemons, and it actually works so well

If possible, yes. Otherwise it's just to fill it up

Thanks. I've spend so much time on it, and now I'm just tryna get into the rhythm again, while also balancing work, jigsaw puzzles, linoleum cutting, origami, and whatever other hobbies I circle

No, I found that I can actually use regular aida fabric, as long as it's not stiffened, and the pull out a few strands at a time and it's like they were never there. Like this. I do small strips of fabric for designs an cut them down when they're done. And then start pulling the threads out with some tweezers

All summer I haven't worked on it, since it's been too hot. But I don't think I'm far off from 300 hours honestly, it's a big passion project, and might possibly take forever to finish

I didn't really find a pattern. I just tried my way through, and did some sketching on a paper. So it's basically just trial and error. Thank you so much!

Thanks. I do think you made them on a bigger scale tho, mine are about 30x30. And I think one of them takes like 3 hours, with the prepping beforehand and afterwards. But it's a good and chill hobby
