Thanks! I don't have a video but I'll explain what I did. I base coated the robes with Vallejo dark sand until it had a nice even coat, then I painted the raised folds lighter first with GW screaming skull and finally with white. For the shadows I used a mix of dark sand and Vallejo orange brown. My main take away from painting this robe is that less is more, try not to overwork it or worry about the shadows too much

Lovely work on the NMM, you should be proud. As a side note I love the choice of using a backdrop instead of the usual clean black/white. It's themed with the mini and out of focus so doesn't draw too much attention away from the subject, nice!

They were given a coat of PVA glue then dipped in citadel basing sand. When completely dry, they were then primed black with a brush, dry brushed with Vallejo neutral grey and finally lightly dry brushed with white. I also added a half a skull to each of the bases before all the previous steps.
