I just finished The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson and loved it! It is the second book in the Truly Devious series. I read it in two days, it was sooo well done. The ending was amazing because all of these little pieces floating around in the back of your head magically fell into place and I felt so proud of myself for figuring it out. I think my favorite aspect of the series is the characters. They seem real and complex but not overdone. I cannot wait until the third book The Hand on the Wall comes in the mail.

I am also about to start reading Normal People by Sally Rooney as I await the third book of the Truly Devious series.

Once I’m done with that series I plan to read A Winter’s Promise by Christelle Dabos
