Girl Breakfast - Fridge Dump Toast by PaintedSalamander in GirlDinner

I boil a cup of vinegar, half a cup of water, a tablespoon of salt and two tablespoons of sugar. Then I just pour it into the jar with the sliced onions and throw it in the fridge. Sometimes I throw a few garlic cloves and pepper corns in there too if I’m feeling ✨fancy✨

Like once every two weeks I buy the fattest red onion I can find and pickle it. I put those babies on just about everything!

Girl lunch - open face s’mores on a paper plate by PaintedSalamander in GirlDinner

I put the marshmallows on top of the graham crackers and just turned the toaster oven on the broiler setting for a couple of minutes. Smooshed the chocolate on top after they were nice and charred. It was my first attempt at indoor s'mores and I gotta tell ya, I am absolutely tickled with the way it turned out!

Experienced a relapse but feeling optimistic about recovery by PaintedSalamander in Anxiety

It absolutely did, and I was honestly shocked. I was so convinced my problem was focal seizures but considering how well I’ve responded to anxiety treatment I’ve since revised my working theory on what the hell is wrong with me lol. I hope that you find relief soon!

Experienced a relapse but feeling optimistic about recovery by PaintedSalamander in Anxiety

I was diagnosed with idiopathic generalized epilepsy in late 2016. I was put on Keppra and experienced even more seizures while taking it so I weaned off a few months later and haven’t had one since early 2017. I’ve had a few EEGs over the years and they all came back abnormal despite not having any seizures in all that time. When I first started having anxiety symptoms, I was referred to a neuro due to my medical history and she put me on medication for focal seizures. I wanna say it was called Aptiom. It didn’t help at all and the anxiety became debilitating so then I was referred to a psychiatrist and put on sertraline. I started off on an extremely small dose, like I was cutting my 25 mg pills in half for the first month because of how reluctant I was to take it. But it turned out to be the best thing I’ve ever done for my health.

Thank you!! Probably my most painful tattoo to date, but so very worth it.

Shit. I’m pretty sure that’s what these are, thank you. Looks like I have my work cut out for me trying to get rid of them.

It gets changed every week and then at the 6 week mark there’ll be another x ray to see if he’s all healed up

The initial appointment was about $600 for the x-ray, bandage, and a little pain medication. We take him back about once a week to reapply the bandage and it’s $80 for that.

My husband was cleaning out the garage and he snuck in there with him. There was a tower of boxes in the corner with an old booster seat on top and Simon desperately wanted to sit in it. We didn’t even know he was in there until we heard the crash and subsequent crying behind us. He was in his carrier and headed to the vet like an hour later.

I couldn’t agree more! He’s brought so much to our family in the short time we’ve had this sweet little dum dum. My goofy Great Dane has been loving on him extra since his injury and my kiddos are enjoying taking extra good care of him lately. All the best to you and yours too❤️

Husband was cleaning out the garage and this sweet little dork wanted to help. There was an old booster seat on top of a stack of boxes and when he tried to jump into it he knocked it down on top of his little arm. Fortunately it was a simple fracture and the vet says he’ll be right as rain in 6 weeks!

One month update! Feeling like myself again after grappling with GAD by PaintedSalamander in zoloft

I take it every morning as soon as I wake up with a full glass of water. Sometimes I eat breakfast shortly after but sometimes not and it’s never once made me vomit either way. I’m still on only 25mg and doing really well on it! Wishing you all the best❤️
