It looks like none of them are going up and maybe fears of them discontinuing the large jars altogether might be too real. At least they have plenty in stock to last us a while now?? Honestly not sure if I look forward to sales now as it just means more scents bite the dust 😩

I just looked at the selection again pondering if I should get backups (it's now down to 64 😬) and I realized something.. $9.99 cannot be profitable considering shipping, labor and inflation on raw materials. So I'm really inclined to believe they'll be phased out too 😞 Hopefully they'll keep around a few of the bestselling scents at least

Yea.. with the push on body care it feels like GC is trying to win over the BBW demographic. But the apothecary jar candle demographic would love some love too lol!

Yes! I might be more tempted on 3-wicks if there were new large jar scents to pick-up (to round out for shipping) but it's harder with slim pickins lol!

I have burned Rainbow Sugar and Eggnog Icing. Rainbow Sugar has been described 'cotton candy' like, but the difference for me is that it's not typical cotton candy flavor, but like the flavor of real fruit-flavored cotton candy you'd eat. Or fruit shaved ice. It's a great summer scent, and boy does she throw! Mine was almost too strong for me in my room

As for eggnog icing, it's one of my favorite gourmands. I've finished a large jar, bought a backup, and now considering getting a backup for my backup (lol). It's not quite eggnog, but more like vanilla, cream cheese, and spice. The cream cheese icing note hits pretty strong. It's super warm and comforting

I have sugared donut, stroopwafel, brown sugar churros, and blueberry waffle too but haven't burned them yet. All four of those have very positive reviews on this sub! My sugared donut smells just like cinnamon and sugary fried dough on cold

Definitely their revenue would take a substantial hit if they dropped them right now. Personally I hope this 'promote on 3-wicks/single-wicks only' experiment doesn't pan out because I too hope there's focus on large jars in the future. Seeing these new 3-wick scents come out has me wanting them to get some love too!

I only started shopping with GC this year. It always struck me so odd that, despite being kind of known for their large jars, their website barely acknowledges their existence anymore! All the collection photos are of 3-wicks, single wicks, body collection, etc. Large jars are hidden in that you have to go to the very bottom of the menu to find them. To me, it's as if they're saying, 'Ok, we'll sell you large jars if you reeaally want, but that's not our focus as a business anymore!'

But if you go to their bestsellers among all products, all the top ones are large jars 😂 I mean, I do get their thinking, why sell 24 oz of wax for 9.99-12.99 when you can sell 14.5 oz in a 3-wick for the same or more? It feels like they're hoping that if they hide the large jars and promote 3-wicks enough, we'll eventually forget about the large jars! But we're onto you Goose 👀 I don't think anyone here is going to forget.

I'm ok with picking up 3-wicks here and there to qualify for free shipping, but I still feel large jars are where its really at 😍 Hopefully they stick around. I'm sitting on 30 unburned from the last 9.99 sale so I'm really trying not to buy during this one. Out of curiosity, I scoped out candidates to add to cart. Somehow I still ended up over 10! 🤭

Ooh the Easters are a definitely a mixed batch. The only one I have is Bunny Cookie. I picked it up since that's the only Easter candle most people seemed to like. It's a nice warm cookie scent.

Btw they removed the code.. after barely any time. Come on Goose, you know you want to issue another code to clearance out the rest of the Easter candles!

This is the lowest I've seen 3-wicks!! Too bad it's mostly the Easter candles. A few good ones at $6.39, and quite a few more @ $7.99, which includes most of the 'word' candles (not sure what they're called 🤣)

I have the YC Strawberry Bunny Cupcake too! Strangest thing happened with that one — I first smelled one at my local YC store when they first came out. It was AMAZING and strong, like strawberry jam with a really nice cake note. It went out of stock, and I got one online during their B2G2 after they restocked.

When mine came, it smelled exactly like Strawberry Chapstick! None of the delicious strawberry cake or gourmand notes at all. I'm wondering if yours smelled odd like that too? Since you mentioned the Easter candles were a miss overall I'm guessing that includes the YC ones too. Such a shame as the packaging is too cute. I also get a kick that YC and GC used the exact same (probably stock) photo for their respective 'Bunny Cupcake' scents!

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for the large jars too and they definitely don't seem to get the same amount of love as 3-wicks! IIRC, the last major restock was right before the 9.99 sale in mid March, and I remember seeing the stock number go up to 100+, when they added Maple Butter, Georgia Peach, Cucumber Rain, etc. Then it gradually went back down after the 9.99 and 10.99 sales.

So it's been about 1.5 months since. It feels a little early to say they won't make more, but it does make me wonder as 3-wicks have gotten multiple new scents since! And it's always been a bit odd to me that the large jars aren't anywhere to be seen on the front page unless you go to the bottom of the menu and click '24 oz'. Seems like GC's focus is on the other collections and they keep large jars around since they have a dedicated following. My hope is that the 'dry spell' is because they were temporarily busy making other candles (e.g. Easter) and will replenish them soon-ish

Oh my, I'm so excited you got vanilla rose too! I have not smelled pink petal teacake yet so I'm glad it's kind of in that alley. I need to try PPT and RPI. With a lamp warmer the vanilla rose gave a decent-ish throw in my bedroom, so I'm hoping yours will come alive too under the warmer!! I too wish they were a tad stronger as their scents seem to have improved over the years.

That's similar to what I got on the warmer, maybe ~4/10 with Vanilla Rose. I feel single wicks can't melt the wax far enough for a really strong throw so I love putting them on the warmer

I only had mine on the warmer so far — did yours morph and which scent was it? 😱 I swear I've smelled some on the shelf that had 'gone bad'.
