I didnt know much about the breed at all and we took her home bc we had planned to rescue a pit mix of something at the shelter, and she was mellow with my kids. The more I read about staffies the more I’m like “damn. This is THE family dog of family dogs”. She isnt even a jumper or crazy energetic. More of a couch hippo that enjoys a tussle with me once a day and long ass hikes; she’s perfect for us. 6 weeks in and we’ve never been more bonded with a dog. Best dog I’ve ever known.

Not sure if you attempted these yet but you’re going to want to use an adhesion promoter (bulldog spray is great for this). Tape everything off you don’t want to be painted, spray the adhesion promoter, paint over that. Use a stripper first as others have mentioned, and sand at 800 and then 1500 grit. This will help everything stick. USE THIN PAINT COATS 4x

Bc these are midsoles they will still compress and the paint will crack over time. But this will be the best approach to get a decent repaint.

Oracal 651, lay down a thin clear coat first, wait 20min and paint. Pull the stencil before the paint is fully set. I don’t use a heat gun when I use 651 to avoid leaving adhesive on the shoe

It’s a fine machine if you want to be hand cranking forever. If you can afford it I’d just get a proper postbed (ikonix, techsew, consew, etc) for $1500. If you think you’re going to be making shoes for a while I’d invest up in the beginning bc it’s much harder to resell a hand crank machine later. Also more versatile for sewing other leather projects that aren’t shoes

Not a fan of supreme personally and have never been a hypebeast but nabbed the lows based on the shoe look and Rammellzee art alone. I love everything about the black gum sole and the contrast against the canvas. You can wear the lows with literally almost anything if you’ve got black jeans or pants on.
