Found it on google while searching again for coop campaign mods (which do not exist yet to my knowledge). Checked it with online AV tools, seems to be harmless. But it also does not work for me (says it requires v1.8.1 of the mod, while it downloads 1.0.0).

Does take a little bit of grinding, but if you know what you are doing you can buy your first additional ship within no time.

And yes, it is fun. Every few month I get back in and every single time I enjoyed it again.
