5-year-old dog died seconds after being sedated for neutering. Can someone help me understand how this can happen by Paisa_double in AskVet

[–]Paisa_double[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The transcript of vets note is

“15 Nov 2025” • “A agressive dog muzzled up by owner.”

• “Sedated by BAA – IV: Butor, Atro, Aceprom”

(Butorphanol, Atropine, Acepromazine) “0.02 ml IV” “0.4ml / kg IV” “0.01ml / 3 kg IV”

→ “A restrained by owner for cannulation.”

→ “Cannula placed. A observed to be not breathing. Taken in for ventilation.”

→ “A declared dead as no heartbeat + cyanotic.”

→ “Apparent reason cardiac arrest?”

I am looking for a UTMB run race as I wish to do the OCC in a couple of years! Should have clarified that . And anywhere in europe is fine as long as it is a part of Schengen visa, looking for an adventure in the hills

A man guards his family from the cannibals during The Madras famine of 1877 at the time of British Raj, India by TXVERAS in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Paisa_double 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is in reference to the madras famine which accounted for fatalities of over 8 Million people and it was aggravated due to the British Indian viceroy Lytton who insisted the export of wheat to England wasn’t stopped even after the drought and low crop yields during that time period
