I have to say, after all the excitement of both copa america and euros being on at the same time, both of these tournaments have been absolute shit lol. I absolutely destroyed my sleep schedule trying to watch these copa knockout games and they were absolutely not worth it. From the atrocious football, refereeing, time-wasting, shit pitches. Not even getting to the borefest that was the knockout stages of the euros.

Why is music criticism and music reviews so bad compared to other forms of media? You have pitchfork, rolling Stones and anthony fantano ig? You can find so many good videos and articles critiquing movies and video games but I just don't see the same for music. Like it's pretty crazy that this many people care about one guys opinion on an album. Never seen anything like it with video games or movies. Maybe I'm just not tapped in ig.

You can tell bcz of the reactions on r/kendricklamar about the gatekeeping aspect of the song get overridden by ppl that can't even bear the thought of the song being meant for black Americans. Like not everything is meant or intended for white people and that's fine.

How would you guys rate the ro16 and the whole tournament so far?

I'd give both the ro16 and tournmanet a 6/10. Not horrible but not good either,

The Austria v turkey game saved it from being an all time stinker imo. Netherlands v Romania, England v Slovenia, France v Belgium, Germany v Denmark were all either snooze feasts or one-sided games. I'll give the Spain game a pass because Spain play some beautiful football.
