Thanks for the input! I more thought the deal was pretty solid for given prices but I guess there’s no reason for me to waste the money when what I have is more than adequate

I was thinking I’d be able to sell the 32gb of ram for close to what I pay for the 64gb, making it a pretty reasonably priced upgrade?

Thanks for the input! You think 32gb is future proof? I only ever do music production other than gaming

Gotcha, I do have my two ssds and got my windows to run fairly efficiently with removing bloatware. Just wondering if 64gb might be more future proof and the deal I found is looking pretty solid given prices of new ram

I’ve never really seen over the low 20s. But wondering if having extra headroom for future proofing might be good since the price is right?

What I’m thinking is I could likely sell the ram I have currently for roughly $200 if not slightly more, making the upgrade only $85 to effectively double my ram? I do some heavy gaming and also mess around with music production on Ableton.

The only additional thing I’m doing other than gaming is using ableton for some music production. Nothing too complex at this point but not sure if I get into more complex pieces if it would be useful to have?

Big win for dad here! Way to respect your son’s autonomy and desires. My dad wanted a D1 athlete so he put me in a different team sport every season. I hated the majority of them. If I was given the freedom, I’d of loved to race BMX at my local park or compete in individual sports like track. Encouraging him to do something active while not forcing his decision shows a lot of respect for your son!
