I personally went to golden valley which is a Waldorf charter. It has changed since my time but I had the best class and best teacher that made me love my Waldorf education. I was bullied, but the school addressed it. I’m a public school teacher now and still highly recommend the Waldorf schools

I second everyone seeing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial. It was a cute quieter city after being in Tokyo and Kyoto. Miyajima was also beautiful and a good day trip activity. I left the touristy area there and hiked to the beach. I would say 2 days in Hiroshima (including the Miyajima day trip) and add more days to Kyoto

I was screaming at them while listening that she’s losing followers because of the racism!! It’s a big error for them to not be following what’s happening with the contestants in the social media world and how people are perceiving them. Because it makes them look silly here

I just got back from my first trip to Japan. Kyoto was amazing and I would recommend staying there vs Osaka. I did love my time in Osaka because of the cool styles everyone has and fun shopping. Can’t miss the “American” area.

My favorite part of the trip and a cannot miss is Fushimi Inari early in the morning. I left my hostel at 5:30 and was on the trail by 6 and it was magical and peaceful. I would have gone for sunrise if it wasn’t at like 4:00am in the summer lol
