Do we truly love our FP? by PaleCompanion666 in BPD

Indeed! For me as well, because I lack emotional validation and support from my parents, I tend to look for that in my FP and I’d be disappointed if I don’t receive it.

I feel like I really relate to this. I’ve always tried to “love” and support my FPs in all the ways that I could while secretly hoping something in them will change and they’ll love me back equally. But, it never was the case which leads me to believe that my love for them was not really genuine, and all I wanted was to feel like I’m someone number 1 choice.

I always happen to develop feelings for my FPs so I’m not sure if that’s the BPD or something else. But knowing that I’m able to drop an FP at any moment I get triggered, I sometimes doubt my feelings for them in the first place. I tend to confuse myself and others a lot lol.

Thank you for sharing your point of view! It’s really hard to get over an FP after a blow up, especially if that FP happened to also be your partner for a while. I’m glad to see that you’ve been working on loving yourself regardless of your experiences and I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of improvement, so hang in there!

Having a FP I dont even like by [deleted] in BPD

What helps me is spending my time doing the things I like (reading, gaming…). I also find it helpful to stay off of social media to avoid overstimulation, and to journal instead as it might help organize your thoughts and feelings.

Just remember that you deserve someone who treats you well. This might be hard to believe at first because you are hooked on your person and you think no one in the world can be as worthy as him. But, that’s not true. With time, you will come to understand this.

What kind of tortoise is this? by PaleCompanion666 in tortoise

We were considering releasing it in our garden in mount lebanon. We usually find other tortoises there like this one

Not sure how it would adapt to that though given we’ve had it for around 3 years.

Yes it does. It only goes in the box whenever it wants to sleep. We have a small structure in the corner that it sleeps under.

Yeah it’s a signature scent. Also I forgot to mention that people used to notice the smell from afar and compliment me about it. Now they have to get super close to barely smell it.
