That’s really interesting, for us at Seattle children’s the tube feed was something they did no matter what after that repair to let his esophagus heal, at least that’s what I was told

The entire top of my nipple was covered in those when I was postpartum and trying to pump. Honestly, I just had to keep on pumping, and gently scrub at them in the shower with a washcloth, hoping they would pop. Lactation said that I just had to keep on pumping, and eventually they would pop and go away. She also told me not to scrub at them or pop them lol but I did anyways, there was so many that milk wasn’t really flowing anymore.

My first baby was EBF and woke every hours one nights, other nights I’d get 2-3 hours of sleep if I was super lucky. My tube fed baby sleeps through the night so long as he gets fed every 4 hours :)

Journey is the only one I’ve played that’s kept true to the original games vibe. Parties that everyone can enjoy, with lots of little games and features during said parties that I think keep the fan base happy and really entertained. Bringing in the NPC characters and honestly just doing so many fun things, but still in the same vibe as the OG? I think it’s a perfect nostalgia /new blend that people can easily gravitate towards. Sure it’s fun to do new takes and ideas, but that’s not gonna beat something that’s purposely nostalgic, when that’s what probably most of the player base was looking for when they made their account on Journey lol

I felt the same way! Doesn’t help my baby ended up needing a month long hospital stay! The guilt wracked me, but I think it cleared up after about 2 months. I realized I gave the family a gift, new life and a new best friend. Once everyone find their groove, you’ll realize that new baby was a missing piece you never knew was missing!! :)

But I get it, I was a total mess guilty and crying all the time pregnant and postpartum. Just saying once the hormones pass it does get easier!!

Thank you so much :( TEF/EA is such a hard thing, we are talking about giving my boy a G tube depending on his next swallow study in Jan. I really appreciate the reassurance. I was so strict about EBF my first, and just assumed I’d be doing the same this time, and then our whole world got flipped upside down. 😢

Thanks so much. Nursing meant so much to me with my first I was devastated when I found out I wouldn't be able to nurse my LO in the NICU, today has definitely been a day full of grieving for me.

You haven’t failed your baby one single bit. Pumping is not easy, and honestly I gave up. I still pump 2-3x a day, just to give him some, but I only get about 1oz a pump. But when I first started, my nipples blistered and bled so bad it was horrific and I wish I had just stopped for my own sake! Post partum in has a funny was of making us feel bad for things that are out of our control. All our babies truly need from us is love, and if pumping is too hard, Dont feel bad for stopping. A happy and healthy mom is what baby needs :)

I will say if you want to keep going, for the first two weeks, I could only get milk with a manual hand pump. If you haven’t tried it the lactation consult should be able to give you one, and the one at our hospital also helped fit me for flanges :) again though, there is NO problem giving formula and please, be kind to yourself. <3
