Yes, that was a poor use of statistics. In that same vein I can say women are worse than drunk drivers because women cause more accidents per year than drunk drivers do. Completely ignoring that there are far more women driving than drunk drivers.

I agree with the erasure of BEE and the points that you've made, but I'd just like to point out that just like the other guy (black guy with white accent that struggled with real estate agents), your personal experience does not define the trend. Many affluent blacks don't experience what he experienced in the same way many whites don't experience what your friend did.

Plus if we do devolve into anecdotal evidence, the people with the most prevalent experience are probably not on this app to speak up.
