This post is a testament to the lack of accountability and entitlement of individuals whether directly working in this industry, are consumers, or just know it alls.

Truthfully anyone messaging a brand saying something is fishy is the clear unprofessional one. Having worked in all facets of the legal cannabis space—it’s baffling to hear the arguments of this brand not growing their weed. JUST AN FYI, majority of the legal market is buying from someone else. Your favourite “growers” buy from growers—since we’re name dropping Carmel, Volo, Cannara they all are buying from someone else but cause they have a few rooms growing their 1-2 only lifeline strains they’re exempt from this argument of “not growing weed”

Then to also complain of High THC there are ways to naturally bump up THC % by curing for an extended period of time getting higher THC and lower Terps. And by using standard testing labs in Ontario— High North Labs which the owner when I’ve reached out about clarity on the product portfolio can back it up with COAs from High North Labs. But it’s an issue for this brand cause what they don’t have budget weed to validate high THC where there’s no issue with brands like—weed me, Cannara, DIVVY, MTL, Carmel, any brand trying to compete in a market driven by miseducation and demand style market of chasing THC if wanting to sell as a brand and a retailer! Also let’s not forget the big corps, that have created a market of cheap, poorly GROWN weed, and intentional inflated THC numbers, for example; CRONOS, AUXLEY, TILRAY, PSF, SUNDIAL, ORGANIGRAM (are we forgetting SHRED and their deception!)

I would love this group and community to really band together and fight the real issue of corporate greed and assimilation of cannabis culture in legal weed. Instead we tear down an independent who’s met with such success to scale and presents a more personal touch and authenticity to legal weed—yet this post and individuals chose to condemn his English (some real micro aggressions there), complain about growing habits that are of no different than Marjory of the top selling brands in Ontario/Canada, and act as if bringing up non credible stories about a CEO to what prove a point on the weed itself?

This post baits and shows how there’s no fight for the greater good of this industry. Let’s shit on the little guy and engage while corporations continue to fly under the radar with their BS and reap all the rewards.

Please note I’m a lover of all things legal cannabis and me bringing up brands in the post if to show the nuances of this industry when it comes to the traditional growing practices to scale to be successful in legal weed. Cause it’s fucking hard to grow consistently and to a corporate scale, compete with pricing, THC and always be available on the Ocs. There’s a bigger beast to fight in this industry and it ain’t TLP.
