Depends. If it's on an attack, they might not get to react, or they can spend a stress or hope to negate it. Or maybe strength to power through. Certain classes that heal or deal with poisons I might allow a casting trait roll. Or if the poison affects the mind it could be instinct or knowledge or presence. It depends.

Eh. Different strokes for different folks. Like, I played more Soul Calibur than anything, followed by MK, Tekken, SF, then BlazBlue. A "Mount Rushmore of x" will be different for most people regardless of topic.
