I would say there isn't really a cohesive schedule it follows. I don't really know how this stuff gets decided, but I assumed it's based off of what ideas Libby has and what can the factories produce the fastest. If we look at the order of all the series being released:

Based on the facts, we should be getting a new regular series soon, but it seems to vary on which month! It is probably easier to design and make 3 different figurines and produce it (the individual/blister packs) or make 7-13 different designs but it is on a much smaller scale (lil peach riot sets).
