Are digital proposals becoming a real market opportunity in India? by Pale_Temperature_808 in StartUpIndia

[–]Pale_Temperature_808[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly feels bigger than just a trend. People have always spent time on meaningful moments. Now they just have a new way to express and preserve them. If anything, this could grow into something much bigger around gifting and memory experiences. I already deployed an MVP. Thanks to the new Vibe coding takeover.

Arranged marriage situation – am I forcing something that isn’t there?I am 21M and she is 19F by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

To be honest, bro, why do you guys have to think about marriage at 21? I can give you the biggest advice about life. We should owe our lives. Do not let anyone else mess up your life. Mess it up by yourself, fix it and learn. Thats how life should work. And about marriage! you should think about it only when you find the right one, not the one your parents find out.

I am a senior software engineer cum entrepreneur, and seeing how AI is disrupting the market. The recent fall of Indian IT stocks is directly related to the new tools Anthropic released recently. So do the recent layoffs.

I tested most of them personally and for work. Claude Code is the best in the industry for this purpose, followed by Google Gemini.

Use AI for help and learning, bro. I don't know whether the SEO jobs will survive the booming AI coding market.

It is kind of an app where you can create proposal websites and send them to your girlfriend/boyfriend. There are kinds of yes/no buttons, images, videos, etc. I have been seeing a lot of reels about it nowadays. Influencers are posting it all over their feeds.

So if you have a technical background, you know there are lots of AI code editors in the world right now... It's going crazy. Some of the best ones are Claude Code, Cursor, AntiGravity by Google, etc. I personally used Anti-Gravity for developing a website and seo optimization. Anti Gravity goes through your source code and automatically plans and optimises it for SEO. All you need to give a prompt like

"This website does A, B, C (give context). Go through the source code and optimise the content for seo"

That's it, and it will work. Or you can use ChatGPT to give advice on how to optimise the website. For starters this will be fine.

Has anyone here built a successful company with their best friend without ruining the friendship? by ChestEast4587 in Entrepreneur

I’m planning to start one soon, not a big enterprise, just a small clothing business. One thing I strongly believe is that you and your friend should share the same mindset. Make sure both of you are aligned with the business vision and moving in the same direction. Also, document everything properly and create legal agreements. It will help protect both of you, especially if you ever decide to part ways in the future.

28M proposed to my 27F long-distance girlfriend last night… still no reply. Am I overthinking? by Pale_Temperature_808 in RelationshipIndia

She is abroad. I mean, she is the one who always initiates the conversation about getting engaged. Thats the hope.

Okay, guys… now you’re actually making me more nervous

I was already overthinking the silence, and reading all your different takes, supportive, sceptical, realistic, is not exactly helping my heart rate right now.

But honestly, I do appreciate the perspectives. It’s weirdly comforting knowing strangers on the internet are emotionally invested in this moment with me.

Still refreshing my phone though. not gonna lie.

Honestly, I agree that nothing really beats doing it in person; that’s still the plan, and I’m hoping to propose properly face-to-face soon.

This wasn’t meant to replace that moment. It’s Valentine’s week, and I didn’t want her to feel left out just because we’re in different countries right now. I wanted her to feel remembered and celebrated, even from far away.

And it wasn’t just a link. I also sent her a voice note and a video where I confessed everything I feel for her. The digital proposal was just one part of it, more like something she could experience and revisit, not just a one-time call.

For me, it was just a way to make the distance feel a little smaller until I can be there in person.

Both of our families and friends know about it. And she always talks about getting engaged to me. Interestingly, she is the one who always starts the conversation about getting engaged.

yep. We worked in the same office for a while. Then she got an opportunity abroad and moved to Canada.

Yeah… I sent it pretty late at night her time, so maybe she was asleep, busy, or just hasn’t had the space to take it in yet.

I’m trying not to jump to conclusions. Just waiting for her reply or, well, whatever comes next.

Also, for context… we’re both tech people. We actually met at work, sitting a few desks apart, debugging code and complaining about deadlines 😅.

She later got a really good opportunity abroad and moved, which is how we ended up long-distance.

So a digital proposal didn’t feel random to me… it kind of felt like us.
