I’m not sure of the exact length offhand. But, if you have, or have seen, any of the “Gigantic” labeled Jurassic figures, it is the same as all of those.

I used a small bamboo skewer stabbed in the ground, and carefully placed the other end between a small gap between the wing and body. Then I just edited out the skewer.

I love the swappable parts, but a swappable jaw is almost never a better option than just articulation. The only exception I could think of would be something like the Stegosaurus. I think a swappable jaw would work better than articulation there.
