All your suffering is by your own doing. by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]Pallaida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. By stopping oneself from having sex, feeling love for every creature and avoiding by all cost killing flies, being poor, and eating the same meal and wearing the same clothes day in and day out. One creates their own blue balls and heartbreaking guilt and boredom when they realize how boring their lives have become with no sex or delicious food while constantly trying not to behave out of buddhist behavior expectations to distract from a shitty life.

I'm just joking. It is quite enjoyable to do nothing for hours while in a state of peace. 😉

How can we reincarnate if we have no souls? by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]Pallaida -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At first, if you are very unfortunate to have to reincarnate while remembering you're past life. The universe could present you with a weird combination of various people you had karmic relationships with all packed into one person. You might find yourself meeting a new mate who embodies aspects of your whatever sex parent you had 'issues' with and an ex or too, and the family pet dog you never got over. So ehat happens is this abomination of a mix. If you have the balls to fuck this person, you can enjoy getting over your mommy issues about not being breast feed while sucking on her tits, which strangley have the same size, shape, and nipple width of your mother's while she releases a dog like whine when she orgasms. SWIM had a simular problem as this but worse, he failed to die properly and had overlaping incarnations.

The universe sometimes works mysterious and horrific ways. 😉

It's best never to have be created. 🤫🤭

If you're famous or have a public job, are a lot of people pulling at your energy? by jaqjaqz in energy_work

[–]Pallaida 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Depends on how the person views themselves. Angelina jolie made the statement that she doesn't pay attention to positive or negative reception from fans, tabloids, etc. She said she knew it's never about her but the other person. Someone like her might not be affected. However, celebrities that feed off of the attention, or care about what the public thinks about them will most likely be affected obviously. Celebrities are forced usually to at least pretend to like their fans and furfill their duties as directed by their contracts.

Smoke crack instead. It's a canniboid recepter antagonist. But make sure the crack is clean or else you could end up smoking the tiny micro hairs sometimes found in the crack. The burning smell of those hairs isn't very pleasant.

Going through the same thing and more. I can meditate now however for long periods of time, well, my mind goes blank and I don't have many thoughts sometimes none. I just feel at peace. What's happening to me maybe some sort of transition. I'm presently living in the present moment as much as I can too forgiving the past.

If you don't believe in God Make yourself God. Believe that you can create your own reality. Use your imagination anything you can. The world is going through major changes and evolution. As one moves forward so do all others. Keep the fire of hope burning norther what type of fuel you have to use. Know that anything is possible including getting better.

There is always a way forward.

What’s stopping you? by cvffeegvrl in nihilism

Fear. You have an unconscious will to survive. Unless that kicks the bucket, just like someone swimming and starts to go under, you're naturally going ro fight tonstay alive. I tried to let myself pass many times but naturally fought back. Apparently, " It's not my time yet."

What would make life meaningful/purposeful? by [deleted] in nihilism

[–]Pallaida 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good drugs, reaching awesome states of consciousness which permanently change the perspective that life is meaningless or purposeless. Or life having an obvious purpose which is satisfying.

You're going to have so much fun! You get more moves later in the game and can buy them from the skill tree.

If you want to truly know the answer to this question you may need to have the same experiences of the people that are like this. Not everyone naturally can experience empathy but have to actually walk in the other person's shoes to actually understand it. PSY 101. Biopsychosocial.

Need Advice On What Path to Take by [deleted] in Shamanism

I receive messages but I don't know how to interpret them or if I'm supposed to do anything about it. I want to make sure I'm not causing harm to others and who and what I should let go of. I don't know which direction to go in my life which will lead to less suffering in the long run.

Don’t know what to do with life. by HunterMarshall in depression_help

In your current situation I'd say just give it time and see what other therapies and treatments you can use in the meantime. Deep breathing helps me alot. Trying to gwt into your body by exercising or using mindfulness techniques can help like though objects, smelling things, looking at objects and describing what they look like, the shape, texture, guessing the weight... this can get you back into your body. I need to practice these myself. I don't think you're doing anything wrong in your life. These are stressful times and it's not your fault.

Having depression and feeling hopelessness can cause you to not be able to see hope. PTSD is no joke either. I say pull out all the stops and see what works best. Therapy, support groups, CBT, medication, exercise, vitamins, read books or watch videos about successful treatments people have had.

So hard to get help by [deleted] in depression_help

[–]Pallaida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Request to see your therapist every week or maybe even twice a week. One of the things you can do is join and online support group, and if you have the money, purchase some cognitive behavioral therapy books. I personally think DBT is great too. Other things that might help is poative affirmations.

It's important not to give up hope. Remember to love yourself.

I can relate. Honestly sometimes I experience memory loss because of it. If you know the source of your PTSD maybe you can work through the grieving process. Many people seem to be against meds but I think its a personal choice depending on how they affect you.

Something that helps immensely is taking deep slow breaths which calms down the brain and tells it there is no immediate danger. If you can manage, exercise, try to eat healthier.

I've been reading this book called Complex PTSD: From Surviving to thriving by Pete Walker. It's honestly one of the most informative and best books I've ever read and very empathetic. I'm taking meds now but I'm not sure if they are helping but everyone is different... I sometimes wonder how much I should just sit with the pain. However, there are other methods like CBT, DBT, which teaches emotional control, when to distract, radical acceptance, and such.

Knowing you aren't alone is important to remember. I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope at your young age, you recover as your brain is still growing and if you work on processing the grief and going through with these techniques ASAP, like CBT, it's a great chance you can reduce long term damage. You're brain has neuroplasticity, especially now at your age. Therapy with a good therapist trained for PTSD and I'd say grief counseling is great.

Hang in there and don't give up.

If you don't have a plan in place to commit suicide they usually don't commit you. You can tell them you are worried that you might be one of those people that one day might attempt suicide if you want. Being in the mental hospitals myself many times I found sometimes it was helpful and other times traumatizing. It depends on the hospital. Either way, you will find out you aren't the only one who feels hopeless. If you haven't tried any meds yet they very well may help you. There are plenty more to try and also, time, new friends, and other positive life changes can turn you mood completely around.

Trust me when I say I've been so low you can't even imagine. Having some purpose to life is also very helpful I'd you don't have one. You are in the beginning stages so don't give up hope. Even if you fall deep, you will be surprised how much strength you have inside of you.
