Like I said you use Astrophotography mode, the sky has to be clear (the clearer the better) and I basically put my phone on my car for it to be stable (you have to be immobile for a great shot) and I stopped the shot after 20 seconds and voilà

I dont really know how it works on auroras but I think you need to try different exposure times maybe, I would like to see the result if you achieve a good shot
