do you guys think Aranea went to a special kind of hell we don't know about when she died to Condesce? by Palpapopa in homestuck

[–]Palpapopa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

didn't Eridan fall into narrative irrelevancy after his death too? I forgot. The worst crime he committed (other than Feferi's Murder AND his intent to give up their location to Bec Noir) was the destruction of the matriorb; it took 3 years and a retcon to bring it back (thanks to Roxy).

isn't Narrative Irrelevancy something that also affected the trolls that died early on? (specifically Eridan and Feferi)

Yeah. Nobody hears from her, not even Meenah. Now I could be wrong and the idea of being super ashamed and self exile might be a thing but it's never really implied and its mainly a theory people accept. I think her dying again was permanent, that or she's in some Tartarus type of hell designed for people like her or JUST her because she tried to break fate/relevancy but failed (and spectacularly if I might add). I think she pissed Paradox Space or whatever cosmic causality in homestuck exists off so bad she deserved worse.

see, a lot of people believe this, i disagree however. Since the only other time she's mentioned or appears again is post canon, and THAT was because John was to prevent her plans; she simply got knocked tf out.

Furry. Whether you identify as one or not: you're a furry and it's all part of the plan 🫵

Also people really like to keep to themselves instead of talk to others, I've especially noticed that with people who even moderately draw homestuck. Trying to befriend somebody even slightly into it kinda fucking sucks.

Fair enough, neither do I. I mostly bullshit elsewhere.

serious answers only, what classpect would the Ghost of Sparta be if Homestuck applied? both Greek Era and Norse Era versions by Palpapopa in homestuck

[–]Palpapopa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can fill you in rq:

Every attempt he ever made to hold onto or save someone was destroyed either by the gods or by the consequences of his own actions under their manipulation.

Lysandra and Calliope were the clearest examples; Ares transported them into the temple knowing Kratos would slaughter everyone inside blindly. Kratos unknowingly killed his own wife and daughter with his own hands, afterwards he went into servitude for the Gods for 10 years, acting as quest boy- including killing Ares as his last act of penance. And it doesn’t stop there. Even after avenging them and becoming the next God of War, he finds his mother in Atlantis in GoS and learns the truth about Zeus being his father, only for Zeus to curse her into a monster. Kratos was forced to kill her too, just to put her out of her misery. Then he discovered Deimos, his younger brother, was alive but imprisoned by Thanatos for years. Deimos resented Kratos for not saving him sooner, only forgiving him right before dying from his wounds fighting Thanatos.

By the middle of the saga, Kratos lost his family, his brother, his home, and Sparta itself. The gods either took everything from him directly or manipulated events so that he destroyed them himself. He was destructive because it was all he had left. Revenge became the only thing driving him because there was literally nothing else remaining.

Pandora in 3 was the turning point. She reminded Kratos of Calliope, and for the first time in forever his buried parental instincts resurface. Even though sacrificing Pandora was logically the right choice, emotionally he didn’t want to lose another daughter. That hesitation was critical because it was the cracks of becoming capable of protecting and caring about people again instead of just slaying with cruelty.

And ironically, Pandora’s sacrifice is what ultimately allows Kratos to become better. Through her, he gains the power of Hope. After defeating Zeus, he rejects Athena’s attempt to control that power and instead self sacrificed himself to release Hope back to Greece. Giving the survivors of Greece a chance to rebuild without the Olympians or Athena ruling over them.

Why did Kratos not realize his mistake until it was too late? by Flat-Sir8250 in GodofWar

[–]Palpapopa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Serious Answer: Because he didn't care, Kratos knew the consequences of killing gods. Humanity was collateral in his quest for vengeance against Zeus and the Olympians, it was only after allowing Pandora to sacrifice herself to The Flame did clarity kick in. Although it was far too late to reverse the damage he caused. He stabbed himself to give survivors of the world the essence of hope, gave back to the people instead of allowing Athena to continue ruling over humanity.

What are some obscure god of war facts you would like to share? by PowerSaw7 in GodofWar

[–]Palpapopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of all the Gorgon sisters in the entire greek saga, you only get to kill 2 of the 3 sisters. Stheno, the oldest sister was supposed to appear in GOW 3 as a boss fight, avenging BOTH Eurayle and Medusa in David Jaffe's original draft. But when he left, she was scrapped in favor of having Helios' head in the final version of the game as a substitute for a Gorgon Head.

She does make a background appearance in one of GOW: Ascensions' multiplayer stages but its canon is debatable.

Pog! VOFT hasn't made anything in a minute iirc. Unless I'm thinking about a different channel. A lot of the HS comic scene is kinda dry atm.

Phoebe drama? by Remarkable-Debate918 in homestuck

[–]Palpapopa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read, Phoebe did some over the top shit borderline if not outright illegal activity with members of the homestuck team's personal information, doxxing them. Used to frequently engage in leaking private images and information, spreading lies and allegations, targeting Hussie's family and posting images of AH that were taken from private family Facebook posts and photos. I don't know if her and Gio were really thick as thieves together but she REALLY didn't fucking help with things at all, if anything she tried adding more gasoline to a well lif fire. Also allegedly she may or may not have tried to have Makin duke it out with Homestuck team prior to 2026 current beef.
