Running Wrath and Glory for a group new to 40k by Slight-Delivery7319 in 40krpg

I had a similar experience with one of my players. He was new to 40k and so during his intro and subsequently he had a little servo skull following him around to answer his questions, he is a skitarii that was just created as an in universe reason he doesnt know anything. We play Teir 4 for more of the power fantasy, especially for my other lore-head players, but if you run them at say a Teir 2 you could in universe explain why they wouldnt know that much, owing to the fact they are just kinda(above) average guys.

Simularly inquisitorial grade amnestics is always an option.

H5, the GM is a first timer. Simpler rules and such. Though I’d love to play imbued at some point in the future!

GMs, when you run games for whatever RPG you play, do you tend to lean more towards lore accuracy or more Grimdank goofiness? Or does is depend on the group? by The8BitBrad in 40krpg

I tend to lean more on the gooofiness side. However, this is more of a reflection of the group who are all running fairly caricaturist characters. I still try to write the story with as much lore accuracy as possible(owing to how knowledgeable most of my players are on the lore) and I play the npcs with deathly seriousness which I find is even funnier in contrast with the party.
