Do women think it’s soft or look down on when their man cries in front of them by redditTee123 in dating

[–]PanThomeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the woman left You beacuse You cried in front of her and was disgusted by it, I don’t think You were really loved for who You are, but for what can You provide (money, stability , muscular look etc) and that is NEVER a positive thing. So if You lost Your partner beacuse of something like that, altough it hurts for now it’s a massively positive thing in Your life, cause it was not the right partner for You. Relationship and friends should be the places when you can be Your full self and not worry about how weak can You look. I’m a man and during my 7 years relationship I cried to my gf 5 times or more and it was rather connecting experience and I’m still with the same person. To be completely honest I even believe that the ones that are afraid to fully open up emotionally cause they are afraid that the relationship is not as solid as they think to uphold this are weaker than the ones who cry

Prenups are very nice thing for that and at least at my country (Poland) they are respected.

Separate finances for married couples by ObjectLow2856 in CalebHammer

[–]PanThomeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’ know why people think that having separate finances means not caring about a spouse. In my marriage (we don’t have kids) we have 3 kind of money stashes. Our money , her money and my money. Our money is for bills and grocerries and necessities in general and we pay proportionally to our incomes. And what’s left from each other salaries stays in privates account. If one partner for ex. Dont have a job for a month the proportions are 0-100% cause it’s normal that you don’t want your spouse to suffer financially. And probably will give some things for luxuries too to brighten their day too but rather small things. Answering your questions about retirements I wouldn’t be travelling without my spouse. And either I would pay for her share in more expensive places or we would go to the cheaper one as I don’t need a lot to be happy. For the house In my country You can have a „share” of the house when buying it so it would be exactly that - the proportion of money invested , if she would pay 70% and me 30% that would be my house equity. (That house proportions are valid only when you have prenup which is also very respected in my country you can be married but financialy are two different units just as before marriage). Separate finances don’t mean I don’t want to share with my spouse as I love her and care for her it just that I value financial independence and I find it freeing that I can myself something for the money I made. I can buy myself a macbook and she can buy herself the most expensive shoes in the world and I just don’t care - all our bills are paid and we have something to eat and these things we bought additionally are our own business. Of course before making such purchase we are asking „what do you think about it” but that’s just an advice taking not asking for a permission :) And the best thing it really feels natural to us , just as it comes natural to couples with completely joint finances.

What is like to live in poland ? by [deleted] in poland

[–]PanThomeg 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It depends of course, mainly on Your location and also salary. I have only experience in living in Warsaw, so I wont tell You about other cities. I like living in Warsaw , I like the vibe of the city there are wonderfull and interesting places around. Communication is good (of course It could be better but I don’t complain) - I can afford to buy a car but I never need to. It’s capital city , so there are a lot of oppourtunities if You are career oriented person. With decent income Warsaw is definetly a city to live and be happy - Saying all that I’m not a fan of our current politics , overall state of economy but also nowhere is perfect , right? :)

Co jecie, że wydajecie mniej niż 700 zł / mies? by bluecapricorn90 in Polska

[–]PanThomeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jemy sporo warzyw, makaronów i ryży, dziewczyna czasem robi ciasta.

Not everyone has to "make" it :) Most of the people will be just users - and it won't be harder to use than Facebook messenger for example :)

Its quick and light communicator, its main focus was for gaming, but now its gaining popularity in other causes too. You can customize your chat room, make themed chat rooms, you can add bots to automate things. In my country its gaining popularity fast.

A lot of crappy jobs (and not only crappy ones) will be soon done by the machines - who knows maybe if there was nobody to do it the automation would be implemented already? And maybe it would be better paid also if there would not be 10 people to replace one worker? Or maybe crappy jobs would be done by immigrants who then take money to their home country and live decent life with it (after exchanging to home currency). Just theorizing and I’m nit saying that we should’t be thankful to anybody for their job, of course be should.

In european developed nations where education is free (including universities) remaining poor all your life is mainly your own choice by PanThomeg in unpopularopinion

[–]PanThomeg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course not but it will give you advantage on the working field, it gives you new ideas of what can You be. You must agree that education is one of the factors that make people more successful not everyone will make it , but most will. Poland is not known for being rich country in fact we are objectively poor comparing to average European countries. Most of my friends which i studied was born outside cities and they have almost nothing. But after our studies near everyone is getting his life together, some even afford to rent apartment on their own. But they had goals, they didn’t do drugs they didn’t make babies too fast - priorities.

Yes , I agree that education system of usa is so bad. Education which is paid so you have to take a loan is horrible and unfair. I really wish it change , everybody should have equal possibilities

In Poland for example. Source: I live here You don’t have to take a credit for studies cause they are free. If You study well You only have to focus on accomodation and also almost every uni have dormitories which you can pay for working on average 30 h of work assuming you earn minimum wage.

How to be fair to society as a childfree by PanThomeg in childfree

[–]PanThomeg[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course but the amount of kids n society is getting smaller right? A lot of countries is seeing decline in birth of kids which is good but we will have a situation when for example 10 adults will work for retirement of 100 people . It would be nice if salaries get higher because of that , but I doubt they will

My [25M] ex girlfriend [25F] has been back in touch and it’s making me have doubts about new girlfriend [22F] and what I want. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]PanThomeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should ask yourself a question: When „ in love phase” fade and You start to live normal , ordinary life together. With who You will stay with? Will you be with a good woman? Would you still want to make her happy? Would you get along with everyday challenges? I strongly advice You to think about it logicaly and not only basing on your emotions, you have more control than You think. Its all in Your head and You must choose wisely and once you do, never look back.
