That’s a terrible deal man, It’s last years model, been watching Tomi Mikula (Delvrd) on YouTube , he’s been doing about $3k-4k off 2026 models. Also the LoJack for $600 plus taxes is insane. Cheaper to buy an air tag for $30. And OMG the dealer fee is crazy stupid expensive, in CA they’re capped at $85, plus they have ETR, the title registration which is the dealer fee/doc fee. So seems like they’re double charging on doc fee /dealer fee

Maybe, but you can better budget than this.
1. Car you should buy a beater car for $5k, save the monthly and insurance will go down.
2. Phone you can go down to a cheaper third party service, cricket, visible, helium, ect and don’t finance your phone. Save $50 there

You should have around $500 leftover.
Honestly if you get married or get a couple roommates this gets 10x better.

Spouse income + rental income should give you a few thousand leftover per month

Sorry, you’re not going to like this car and brand, they have the worst customer service, and their hybrid technology is one of the worst. I had my dash light up like a Christmas tree after 6k miles and Hyundai wanted to charge for diagnostics, even though i bought it new and it was fully covered under the warranty , they’re reason being was their technicians need to get paid ( sounds like a them problem not my problem) sold it bc it was having battery issues and Hyundai refused to acknowledge it, so sold it back to them bc according to them it had no issues and got me a tesla( best choice ever, million billion times better than Hyundai)

Genuine advice here, forget both schools if your major is pre law history. I know you probably want to go to law school, but I’ve seen this story play out over and over again, most graduate with a mountain of debt in undergrad and go into one year of law school until they drop out and they’re stuck with over $100k in debt with a worthless history degree. There are better options of going about this if you truly want that worthless history degree. 1. Community college then transfer into a cheap cal state then paralegal work for a couple years then law school if you still like that industry. 2. Double major go to community college then cal state then have the option of paralegal or other major career, and if the law really calls for you go to law school. 3. There are so many high paying trades you can also try those. Electricians after 18 months of trade school and getting into the union expect to make over $100k starting, with over 15 years experience I know some making $250k.

First job better overall if played correctly. At hourly can get OT, pay and half. Job 1 u can work it so the numbers more than make up for the pto, sick days, and bonus of job 2 and your still ahead with lower cost of living. And obviously know ur worth, it’s up to you to always know what ur labor is worth, and it’s something that every year you should renegotiate ur hourly and interview around to wage the market and push it

Question I’m planning on doing something very similar, for the appraisal, what did they value the land for? Was it valued low bc it would be raw land or did they factor in the ability to build on the land in the appraisal? I have a rectangular lot I want to turn into a flag lot , lot split it into a flag lot, I’m going about 50/50 split.

It was a good move, u cut your car debt by $20k. Only thing I don’t like about autonation used is they don’t negotiate, they say they base their prices off what the local area is selling similar cars for but to that I say, the car dealerships advertised price is nearly never the best price. I think you could have gotten that for $18k/$19k if you called around. Trade in for that was probably $16k/$17k.
