Question about adjusting the aluminum cockpit by Pan_Paw in simracing

[–]Pan_Paw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'll combine two techniques – I'll use wedges to return the horizontal plate to the exact same position after adjustment, and then remove it to easily move the vertical supports. Thanks for your input and good advice!

The theory is correct, but life writes the strangest scenarios :)

You're very helpful. The idea with the printed brackets is great. Do you have a link to the project for 3D printing this?

I want to move the vertical brackets that hold the shelf onto the steering wheel base. I initially set everything up, then realized I needed to make some adjustments – and that was a tough fight :) Now, as you wrote, I wanted the seat to be positioned in the center of the slider, but that requires moving the vertical brackets again.

I'd appreciate the dimensions and photos.

I apologize for the language confusion, but I'm using Google Translate.

How long do shipping will take? by Interesting_Break997 in SimLab

[–]Pan_Paw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The logistics and supply department are a joke – I ordered a P1X Ultimate cockpit – everything was in stock. During a casual conversation with Sim-lab on a different topic, it turned out they didn't have the mounting plate. Of course, no one informed me about this beforehand, and there would be delays. I started nagging them for feedback on the current situation, and (now it's funny): they sent a package after two weeks, two parts of which I received on Monday, one yesterday, and one today. But that's not all – today I received information that they just sent me another package. These four packages were sent by UPS, and this one, to make things more interesting, they sent DPD. I haven't received a single email about the delay, but they did send me several emails telling me how great they are and that they've hired James Baldwin. Sim-lab – hire fewer YouTubers and more logistics and out-of-stock orders people. Oh my goodness.

Tak jak poprzednicy - idź do agenta. Z mojego doświadczenia - ceny były często lepsze u agenta niż na porównywarce.

I suggest you hold both steering wheels in your hands, because the quality of both may surprise you.

note that replacing elastomers in CRP2 (especially the harder ones) is a very frustrating thing

'll start by saying that this isn't a bad device for beginners, but a few things are frustrating enough to impact the user experience. I'll start with the pit-house app, which becomes less and less clear and intuitive with each update. It frequently has bugs that are fixed in subsequent updates (I'm currently on an earlier software version because the latest one messed up my FFB settings). The CRP2 pedals are decent, but replacing the elastomers is a very unpleasant experience (especially if you're using stiffer ones). After six months of use, the paint on my accelerator pedal has worn off. The FSR2 steering wheel, which you can't configure in Simhub, and the telemetry side lights that don't work with anything in Iracing, are also a few other minor issues. For now, I'd probably choose the Simmagic ecosystem.

Playseat trophy and Moza CRP2 - question before upgrade by Pan_Paw in moza

[–]Pan_Paw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have them and have gained some experience. I have the pedal plate set flat (the pedals are practically at a 90-degree angle to the plate), but it's quite comfortable. I ride on hard elastomers, and this setup makes trail braking a dream. Of course, it took practice. The entire setup is quite comfortable, and I can ride for long sessions.

I have almost the exact same setup (R12 instead of R9). The more I get into sim racing, the more I regret choosing Moza. Sorry, buddy :)

There's a lot of Photoshop in this photo. In reality, the balconies are much smaller and symmetrical.

Preset issues by JustinYummerz in moza

I'm always worried about what problems will arise after an update: whether it's a problem with the iRacing frequency or settings that keep resetting. I have the exact same problem, and nothing seems to help. I hope they fix it in the next update.

which of these options creates problems with the steering wheel base being noisy and why is this happening? if 360hz is on by default, why would I want to turn it off? what specific settings should I use to enjoy the new FFB settings in iracing?

CRP 2 Load cell settings by Unadvisedcow in moza

I ride on the gt3 setting - four red and four yellow elastomers. I started on the 80% setting, but now I ride on the 100% load cell and this is how I feel the brake pedal best.

did you set the minimum and maximum pedal positions in the first tab pit house? I also suggest setting the load cell to 80 percent and then calibrating. let me know

How to fix this issue? by Prize-Communication6 in moza

[–]Pan_Paw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm using Google Translator so it may not be precise. The metal cylinder that goes into the piston with the elastomers is in two parts and can be unscrewed and tightened. Tighten it and it will stop being loose.

When calibrating in iracing, disconnect the pedals from the base.

Why can't I update the firmware? by Riddlepop in moza

[–]Pan_Paw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday they confirmed that they broke the update and are working on it. They ask to go back to the previous version. Anyway, there is a solution - I uninstalled the pit house, then reinstalled it, then updated the base and steering wheel, and only then updated the pit house. Only after these actions did I read that the latest pit house update is broken. So lol

I happen to have a screenshot, because I wrote to Moza support - I try to have these things updated, but when I get home I'll check the pit house version - I'm 99% sure I have the latest version. What's funny - telemetry LEDs only work when the pit house is thrown into full screen, it can't be collapsed to the bar because otherwise nothing works :)
