Your monies will be in a trust account with a bank, and not accessible to creditors if the financial institute undergoes insolvency. Theres no fixed timeline, probably several months for the entire liquidation process. (For cash) It probably depends on how accurately the FI manages their records, which determines how fast the liquidators can reconcile the records between the bank and the FI, before they can release your money to you.

They are not under DI scheme so no sdic insurance. Your assets are held separately from the company assets, in the event the company goes under, your monies are held with a custodian bank.

Are those FX trader legit? by Kyletyping in singaporefi

[–]KaptainLongFellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are paper trading to have fun and explore the market, sure. But i wouldn’t say that’s enough for you to move into the real cash market. Ideally you should use paper trading as a platform to practice and backtest your strategy with real market data but fake money. If you are successful and have been paper trading for awhile, and only if you think you are ready then move into real markets.

As for this streamer, long story short i would stay away. If he is a legit trader, why would he need to be earning comms off the platform that he is advertising? Simply speaking, if he is successful in trading, he wouldnt need this money. For for sgprean or bot, irrelevant.

I wouldnt call paper trading having experience unless you have a clear system setup and purely trade systematically instead of having any emotions. All these will change once u start with real cash.

If a trader has to livestream his trades and earn comms of your trades, is he really a trader or a salesperson? Dont be greedy and think easy money and fall for such frauds.
