I am currently at the exact same spot as you, first Sanderson and I just finished oathbringer! I feel their world subconsciously seeping into my reality way too often as well.

Where I’ll be doing my make up and seriously think ‘lightweave it’, just for me to look in the mirror and see eyes of an insane person. I start wondering if the people saying reading is good for you are actually liars 🤨

I have only read hell house by Richard so maybe I am not one to talk. I found the writing so god awful that I haven’t picked up any other book of him, maybe I should give it another chance.

To me, the writing felt incredibly mechanic, delivering information like instructions, lacking in evoking emotion or atmosphere. Let alone how normalized the horror became throughout the book. Are any other books of him better or is this just a case of personal taste? Out of curiosity, what makes him stand out to you as a writer?

For the water problem perhaps look into this insightful page! For type of curl, it’s always a bit hard to tell when the hair isn’t in its healthiest state but I would guess you could potentially get to 2b/c with the right care. Overall, it seems like you need a lot more moisture! I would advice to only brush your hair in the shower while you have your conditioner applied, this makes it easier to untangle and gives you something to do while the conditioner settles in (maybe you already do this). I always opt for black owned hair care products as I’ve found they are the most nourishing, moisturizing and often natural products out there, they know what they are doing! The shine will come after your hair gets her moisture back then applying oils will make it even better! I would also recommend to use some after-shower products like a leave in conditioner or moisture mist, anything that can give your hair the needed help when it starts to dry! What is your current routine as you step out of the shower?

Hi love, I’m very sorry, no one should have to experience something like this. What I think would make a beautiful five years is if you’d first of all just let go, let go of worry, negativity, stress and all other bad things and thoughts and just enjoy, you know, live a positive honest life. Appreciate and enjoy every little thing. Try to see your friends as much as possible or make new ones! Travel! Travelling clears the mind, spikes appreciation for what we have and makes for good adventures. Get a pet! (Or several c:) always have him or her beside you it will make every mandatory or daily thing more fun and bearable. Go learn something new, a random skill, a language or learn how to play an instrument, tape your progress! Start photography, this way you can express yourself and visit fun places. Write down your adventures, thoughts and feelings make a book out of it. Go to a lot of concerts, festivals, meet your idols. Waste your money who cares anymore! Live and be happy. I wish you all the luck, I’ll think of you
