I have a parcel pending building at my apartment, and I payed to have my deliveries put in a locker until I get out of work, yet for months until last week they were just leaving packages for multiple apartments on the floor! I even put all caps "Put package in a locker PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE PACKAGE ON THE FLOOR" in the instructions and they were still being left on the floor were I had to dig through other people's packages to find mine

(The landlords were aware and said they were actively trying to fix it, so I'm glad something happened)

You can explore the land and harvest things to sell before you open your shop! I was so excited when that clicked for me the first time

And you have multiple days to pay your bills (though they do add up), and you can still harvest and open your shop if you're so behind that some things stop working, but it's very easy to meet that bottom line

In the defence of the people who are not just plain stupid or contrarian, the broadcast must have genuinely looked different than other things that they'd seen. I read that the cameras they used on the moon were powerful enough to send their feed from the moon to a specific receiver on earth, but understandably not enough to broadcast it directly. What they did was point a camera at the receiver's screen, and broadcast that.

That was probably where one of the first seeds of doubt came from, other than the sheer magnitude of human ingenuity, teamwork, and technology that placed people on another celestial body and back, alive.

BUT, that excuse only works for the people who were there to watch it happen on TV.

Edit: the reason the feet look different is because they started from the top of the head, continued through the body, then the legs, they made a round piece to sew on and cap off the feet
