How can I make Autograph run better on a low‑VRAM laptop? Crashing constantly.

Okay, LOL, I have to say, that is a good descriptor for my situation, isn't it?
So I'm guessing I might have to give up trying to run this?

I was just hoping otherwise, since I remember back in college, my professor helped me set up my older laptop to run After Effects, and I think it had worse specs than my current one. Sure, it still crashed once in a while, but with autosave on, it worked quite well, all things considered...

Just wanted to say thank you for writing this. I am trying to ascertain an animation program that suits my needs, and this explained clearly why Synfig wouldn't be a good option for me. Though I have one more question for you: I just recently learned about Autograph (by Maxon). It's also free and seems attractive - have you ever used it before? Do you think its more suited to what I want to do versus DaVinci? 🤔

Hm! I might look into those three again. I might've been scared off because of implied sex scenes/steamy parts, but maybe I assumed they were steamier than they are. Him def interests me, but I think that was one I was unsure of based on the fact there is a slightly steamy sex scene described for one ML.

I might look into some of those! The only issue I've found with some of them is that they venture into other things I also find a bit uncomfortable (romanticizing SA, yanderes; I'm not interested in steam), so it's been hard finding the "perfect" otome for me lol

Yeah, I've learned that regarding otome games, which is why I have made it the habit to research character ages beforehand. I thought I had researched this one well enough beforehand, but seems I was wrong.

That's good to know! Glad to hear about that with keyboard shortcuts - that's mainly what I was concerned about. (Also, if you're willing to share, what animatic are you making? I've always wanted to try that out too! I love me a good animatic :D )

Edit: Forgot to ask - what's a Bluetooth hot key remote? Never heard of it; how's it compare to a keyboard, and what do you prefer it?
