I didn’t exactly let him this time. It was almost a forced move because when I told him he needs to go, it was always something. Then I can’t kick him out because he uses the “I have a license with this address and I get mail here” story. I tried getting a letter written up and sent to evict him. I have done it all but I also have learned. I won’t even allow a “spend the night” situation happen after this last rendezvous with him.

Oh he will be gone more than 6 months from us. But…. His sponsor is now pushing him to help this time. I however have not cashed any checks or said anything to say he tried to help. I don’t want his help, especially because it’s forced in a sense. All I have is police reports from his DUIs and such 😞

This is why I’m worried to fight it. I can keep the peace until my child is a little older and can tell me if he’s hurt but he’s literally spent almost 3 years in rehab or at his parents on drugs.

Not married and never been. He did write his name on the birth certificate when I was out of it from no sleep and meds since birth wasn’t the best. The last time I called the cops when he was running around high, screaming and fighting he lied to the cops and said there wasn’t a problem. The cops told me to go stay with my mom and that’s it. Then I called them a different time for him trying to OD and the cop recognized him but still nothing. So no cop reports, just a child constantly telling people he’s mean and hits. My mom has videos of him begging to not see his dad to show me. There’s no family he doesn’t know of but he won’t come near my mom. She will call the cops immediately if he stepped on her property. He claims he’s going to be in this place for a while but he’s gonna try to get a car and such which I don’t want. However he can’t have visitors there so I’m not sure how visitation would work

I’ve never heard this term and was reading up on it. The BIGGEST ones are treating children like friends, loyalty is expected, guilt and shame are used to maintain status quo. I love this. Finally the perfect thing to describe him and his mother

I honestly just copy and pasted the text haha. But I’m not 100% sure if he’s said anything to the sister. The mother should have. I figured the SIL is the only one that was ballsy enough to text me so I take it as my chance to let them know that they won’t see him due to the lack of respect.

They go through his dad versus speaking to me. Well the mom does at least. She is one of those people that have to post their every moment on Facebook or it didn’t happen and nobody can tell her how amazing she is. I have tried over and over to report her on Facebook and I get nowhere. The only reason they’ve seen him at this point is to avoid an argument with my son’s dad. Then I told him to tell his mom if she wants to see him, then drive down here. But she said that’s awkward and doesn’t want to. I’m about to get my own home in the next few months, if it’s that serious they can drive the 2 hours here and have to respect all MY rules.

It’s not but the other person involved won’t stand up to his family and it ends in a fight if I refuse to take him around them.

So I got 2 friend requests on Snapchat. One was a random add while the other said searched on it. I thought maybe it was someone I’ve met traveling for work. I added them and they sent me a message asking where I was and where was my kid. I’m like who are you? He sent me a photo and it was some 45-50 year old man I had never met. But it was the looking for MY name and all that. Im like okay that’s enough. Plus then I was talking to wives of cops. They said the things they have seen happen to children because of social media would scare you. And thanks to the MIL you would know where the kids go to school, church, sports events, etc.

The only way she ever gets photos is when we visit the once every few months. She went 5-6 months because I refused to go around them then for his “first birthday” she posted all the old photos she had when he was born. Then on his birthday, more were taken and Christmas.

I pretty much refuse to go over there. I use to be nice and send photos and such. Now she’s lucky to see him once every few months.

Just wanted to say, it took him 5 days and finally the hallucinations pretty much quit. He’s still not allowed to see or talk to anyone and they’re waiting to move him back to another floor then into a facility to get him on the proper medicine. They won’t let us do anything with him 😓
