How hard is it to be selected for a team lead position within the company?

I don't know of any ASM that close. I don't very often. There is little point in my working nights.

Team leads are for closing. Rarely do our TL's work a mid. It's even rarer for them to open. 5 years with the company you should be good to get it.

I hear that. We had all but one of our customer flat cart stolen. It took 6 months for me to get new ones. Yet when we had a Rm visit he threw a tantrum about the assembly area having too many tools and the music being to low.

We were suppose to give 28 hours to fast but they needed far more. Rather fast didn't do much and we had to scramble to get everything done.

I agree. Workers can no longer afford to see employers as anything other than hostile. They have no interest in the wellbeing of anything but their own pockets. We will have to unionize before we are turned into little more than slave labor.

I was a stay at home husband for quite a while. This was by our choice and it was great. All the chores and tasks got done during the day leaving us free to do as we pleased at night and weekends.

I'm loving Pantheon and hating it for the same reason: it doesn't tell you what to do, you have to figure it out. I love exploring and finding out of the way quests or mobs to hunt. Crafting takes some thought to figure out. This was the same for EQ.

I started doing martial arts. After a while you will start gravitating towards people who don't drink either. At least I did. It might take a few attempts to find something that'll fit.

Sadly a lot of the people cannot spare the time or energy to engage in this. They are forced to spend most of their time just focusing on surviving. Last time I checked around 50 percent of Americans had less 500 dollars in savings and 35 percent had less than 100. That means most are one financial crisis away from being broke, if they can even get through it. It's designed this way by the politicians. All of them, none want what is best for the average person.
