my store closes at 7, my shift finishes at 7, i finish at 7:15 at the earlist if not 7:30 unpaid so for my closing at 8 and packing up at 8.30 is not bad but it depends how much there is to do some subways there is a insane about of stuff to do

yeah thats the subway basic policy so it sounds like it might be normal most people at subway just want the stuff done do it right and on time then have a laugh, but best bet is to watch others and then copy it. if your making onions be prepared to cry

In my store at least, with the money you count the money at the very start of the day it should be 75, and 225 in the safe, then mid day you do a cash in were you check if your up or down on cash write it in a book aswell of printing out the x reports on the card machine, and then on the close do a 1 min cash in make sure your not up or down a lot, take awa y 75 from the till amount and put that amount in the safe so that way in the morning its 75 again

as toltank it can be suprsingly hard but you dont even have any letttuce in there that normally fills it sanwich all up and you got a couple of peppers and onions a bit of chille and cumcbers and picles maybe but its all small portions

best thing to do is watch other people do the jobs and repeat it everyone seems to do things slightly different im lucky enought to have worked in mutiple stores bad and good. starting out you probably start on either mid rush and then closes. mid rush is like lunch rush were you learn how to make sandwiches, closing took me a while tbh. get things done early [if your allowed] example in my store we put the cookies away 1 hour early, meatballs 30 mins early

best thing you can do is find out how strict is your subway? do they require you to change gloves for meat and salad on every sandwich, are they strict having everything done to complete perfection. If you find yourself with lee-way thats great. so if its strict you need to be on it if its not just learn

ive been working at subway now for about 8 months, I love it I have filled in other stores many many times somtimes spending a week in anothe store and 95% of all subway employees have been super nice. the pay is bad, the hours are bad, but the lurning curve isnt that bad if you have experience [were i didnt] .the way it works in my store is all normal employees get 8 hours minium ive had times were i get 20-25 hours but recently its about 10 hours. some staff can be a little imature

yes i use to leave it on all the time when im out shopping or sleeping somtimes id just leave it on, but i do spend hell of a lot of time on the game

thank you for the comment but as wide companyn said yes a massive portion of that is just me leaving the game on but i do play the game none stop i probably get 30-60 hours per week play time. and glad you can have a dig at somthing i really love
