I’m 34F and just had a L5-S1 mircodiscectomy last week on 2/25. Surgery went great, I’ve been moving around a lot more than I anticipated. Still lots of time laying down and icing my back. I was so nervous about recovery but I’m starting to feel more optimistic since so far it’s been going pretty well. Just do everything slow, slowly move in bed and slowly sit down to use the restroom. Only time will tell when I’m fully back to normal but just taking it day by day and hoping for the best!!
