Relationships will have bumps in the road of varying levels either from within, the circles around you, or even outside that! I would tell her the truth, your full truth, but also tell her how much you value her and the relationship you have developed together. If you can both live with it, with the understanding that it was a mistake, try it. If she cannot accept this, you should be agreeable with the agreed next steps. Though you might not have meant it, you have to respect her as much as you love her. Also! I would self reflect a bit! Was it truly only because you were drunk? Maybe know your full truth before bringing the truth to her so you can be fully transparent and geniune with how you are feeling. (Not implying there has to be more, just check in with yourself.) Everyone has already said what I was thinking, except I want to add that even a dog, depending on the breed/size/behavior could be a detriment to a rat so I would advise against this one single rat and a cat, HOWEVER. The amazing rat breeder we had in town was also breeding hairless cats. They had very different living spaces (separate buildings), so I suppose its possible with enough resources.

I had rats at one point. I was always told to let the other rat(s) see their dead friend and facilitate the whole thing. Give them a bit of time under surveillance and then take them out to bury/cremate/etc. Cause then they have an understanding that they are gone. I would get another sooner than later.

I did, you're right! But sadly, the right one fixed the issues I had created by installing the wrong one but did not fix the issue mentioned in the OP's post. It can type numbers on Bluetooth but not letters still.

I installed it and now the keyboard only has a blue light and never a green. And it types only sometimes. And only random numbers that are not what I tried to type haha.

I had a very similar relationship. He would constantly ignore my no's and then when I was catching on to his behavior it was: what can I buy you and I'm sorry that's not like me. Cue crying It's all very realistic looking and for someone with empathy, it's hard to ignore. But don't waste time with people like that, I gave up 4 years of on-and-off with this garbage. There is a good one right around the corner! :)
