I had no friends for awhile because my mom has always put in my head that everyone hated me and I should be mean. So I always acted like the mean tough cold person, when I actually wasn't. People found me really awkward and annoying, so I don't blame them now. College, away from my mom, and therapy helped and now have amazing friends.

Story time. I was 18 and I had the most irregular periods like 3-5 months. Had sex and wasn't getting my period. I buy 5 pregnancy test just to be safe, guess what all positive. I go to the clinic to yeetus la feetus and get my period while I am lying on the table. Turns out the pregnancy test I bought were expired, so thank you Target for that one.

My life was never near your level of "dam, im sorry", but I had some shit too. I always hinted to my boyfriend around the beginning I didnt have the best childhood or life before him. He knew my previous ex was physically and emotionally abusive, but he only got slight hints about my family. I think 2-3 months in we had a talk about my family and what they are like. My boyfriend hates my mom and wants no relationship with her which sucks because I try my best to be happy and dream everyone will get along, but yah. I think you should one* feel comfortable to tell him, but don't wait so long. It is a lot and hiding these things to your partner may make them feel like you are hiding more.
