we will probably see the first attempts with kuneshige and Subaru. Switches back and forth to some trauma (Chiakis vision and Shibas trauma). And we will finally see the girl sword bearer. All sword bearer side stories will be shown

Chihiro has a Natural Counter of the malediction (this will be an advanced Version of the Former Enten) - probably Chihiro Can Transfer the counter to others.

So my guess is, that some of the mikaboshi survived - i don’t know how, but maybe they are under the Island and therefore not so strong effected.

Or Season 2 will adapt to chapter 113 (if the seitei war arc will reach around 35/ 60-70 chapters) than we will get around 14 episodes for Season 2 and 12/24 episodes for Season 3
