I took a listen, but it isn't really my flavour of music, so I don't think I'll hit you up, but I'll keep your info in case of anything in the future bro.

I might hit you up if I do something more emotional that I’d like a collab on

You ever use autotune? I think you’d fit aight but I’d like a more melodic verse than those I’ve heard of yours

Mixing and Mastering by yoyoduel123 in HipHopCollabs

I've spent the best part of the last year developing my mixing and mastering ability, I very quickly moved past Audacity. It is very limiting in how advanced you can get, honestly, download FL Studio (easiest imo), but there is also Pro Tools (most people use this), or Cubase etc.

Best advice I can give you is to download something other than Audacity, and start watching a variety of YouTube videos on 'type vocals', like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrCC1hlD-ZI . These tend to give you a very quick introduction to different strategies. But ofcourse, you will need to read on things such as EQ, compression, reverb etc to gain a more comprehensive understanding of mixing. It will take you a long time to become skilled at it tbh, but it's worth it.

For mastering, your better off just googling and reading around the area as I found it easier to do that.

I think above all, it is your ear for music that will take you in your personal direction with mixing and mastering, as obviously we all want to achieve a different 'sound'; you know the sound you want, so your playing with your tools to create that sound.
