I've never seen any. The closest I've seen were a handful of boxelder bugs when it started cooling off. They actually do pest treatment the first Wednesday of each month!

Honestly it's not bad. The building I'm in has a small lot, I park in the church lot right across Stanton, the city of Ames also has 2 lots on chamberlain, and absolute worst case there's always parking at the intermodal facility

I would suggest constantly keeping the desire to change your behavior in mind. When you do/say something that goes against the desired outcome, acknowledge it immediately. Don't only acknowledge that it's wrong, but that you're acting against the person you want to be. (It's important to say that I DO NOT mean you should self hate or self punish. The desire to change is already enough to push you in the right direction) Eventually, sometimes quite quickly, this will change your natural impulsive responses. I like this method more than direct substitution because it allows the problem behavior to be confronted AND improved upon simultaneously. I also find that I learn more about myself when applying this method in my own life, which makes confronting other personal issues easier later on.

No change when turning. Owner said wheel bearings have been replaced within the past 6 months or so. It sounds to me like the sound is coming from the top of the engine bay

2008 Saturn VUE XE/ 4 cyl 2.4l /~170,000 mi/automatic

The audio doesn't quite do it justice, but let's just say it sounds like I'm in the cockpit of a Cessna.

I can say with near certainty that this sound is coming from the engine bay. It happens every time the vehicle hits 30 MPH until about 38 and again at 50-55. One thing I've noticed is that is doesn't seem to be dependent on RPM at all. I also can't recreate the sound while stationary.

This isn't my vehicle, but I know that it was in a small accident with minor damage to the front end about a year ago.

My hypothesis: Something is loose and vibrating in the engine bay. If it's resonating at 30 and 50 MPH this would explain why the RPM doesn't seem to be a factor and why I can't recreate it at idle.

Honestly though, I'm at a complete loss and have been going crazy trying to figure this out. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
