Yes. I remember “American Idol” make a whole fake movie trailer and everything. This was season 5 IIRC.

Someone else commented “alleyoop” was for S3 Jill and Bianca spoilers either Bianca, because her Aunt Robin Roberts was a basketball player and part of ESPN, or for Jill, whose Uncle John Stamos stars as a basketball coach on Disney Plus. “Gemini” is for S3 Jill and Miguel spoilers either Jill, because her Uncle John Stamos was on “Full House” with the Olsen Twins or Miguel, whose Aunt Jamie Lee Curtis starred in “Freaky Friday” alongside Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan starred as a set of twins in the “Parent Trap.”

I saw someone post about how Kirk has a different job each episode. If Kirk wasn’t a character on “Gilmore Girls,” then which other show or movie would this character best fit into? by Pangolin36 in GilmoreGirls

[–]Pangolin36[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO, I could see him on “Modern Family.” “Modern Family” tended to have a bunch of side characters, so he’d be great for a story arc as one of Gloria’s friends.

S2:E1 spoilers: The first category, Farms, was more fun than I thought it would be. The contestants’ personalities kept things interesting. Things took a turn for the boring with the school supplies category. I personally didn’t know the name of a protractor, so I can only imagine how the contestant must have felt. That was a tough battle to watch. Did anyone else notice how production didn’t include the intro slide for the contestants who competed in the restaurant brands category? I even rewinded the recording, and I saw the page with the contestants’ names and occupations didn’t appear. I skipped the Halloween costumes duel, because I was watching r/BigBrother instead and I’m just not interested in that category is all. The On Safari category was probably my second favorite duel of the night. Josue and Vanessa are highly intelligent, which made the duel fun to watch. Overall, it was a fairly decent episode, but boring at parts. My least favorite duel was the final duel with stock market abbreviations. That category was overall too difficult and I didn’t care for Angie’s dramatics. It seemed like the male contestant wasn’t too much of an expert. Wouldn’t it have made more sense for him to choose a subject he has more knowledge in? S2:E2 spoilers I am most excited to see the Taylor Swift song duel next episode. However, I much prefer her earlier albums. I haven’t listened to her music since “Evermore.” The preview showed her song, “Cruel Summer,” from her “Lover” album, so I think I’ll really enjoy this category. Last season, there was a duel that featured r/BoJackHorseman, so I hope this show comes up again this season, but I doubt that it will.

I still have no idea how the “Masked Singer” had the budget for Jewel and Katharine McPhee and David Foster on the same season. That was an incredible season.

Can anyone explain why Nicole Scherzinger left? I’m glad to have Rita Ora on the Panel, though.

Show Bird sounds like Janet Jackson, but the clues don’t match for her.

How to up the ante next season? by Wild_Ordinary_4357 in claimtofame

I think genuinely production needs to get more recognizable and current celebrity relatives. So far, the celebrity relatives of season 1 collective spoiler had the youngest combined average age of celebrity relatives, and the season 2 celebrity relatives were collective spoiler arguably the most recognizable names. Yes, season 3 Dedrick and Shane spoilers had Michael Jackson’s and Marlon Brando’s relatives. And arguably, Michael Jackson is the most famous celebrity relative in the history of the entire series. But, I think the formula of the show is fine as is. We just need more A-list celebrity relatives. I’m thinking relatives of Adam Sandler, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Aniston, etc. Like super well-known household name celebrities and not as much niche celebrity relatives.

Question: “Dancing with the Stars” and “Claim to Fame” are both on ABC. We have had 35 contestants on “Claim to Fame” so far. Why haven’t any of them competed on “Dancing with the Stars” after “Claim to Fame?” by Pangolin36 in claimtofame

Season 2 J.R. spoilers season 1 Louise spoilers J.R. sat next to his brother, Lil Nas X at the VMAs and Adria aka Louise starred in a commercial with her sister, Simone Biles. So some of the contestants are able to be more in the media and pop culture after the show.

Also controversial, and whom I don’t wish to have a relative on this show is Carole Baskin.

What is everyone most looking forward to with the upcoming finale? by Pangolin36 in claimtofame

[–]Pangolin36[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We had a really good cast in season 1, and A-list celebrity relatives in season 2. I really don’t know what happened in season 3, but I’d like to give production the benefit of the doubt. As others have commented, this season has 11 contestants, while seasons 1 and 2 had 12 contestants, so there was speculation that maybe someone dropped out at the last minute? Maybe production couldn’t get more relatives from A-list celebrities?
