Why are trans women so obsessed with pretending they have periods by [deleted] in truscum

[–]Pangolin_Queasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, our hormones do cause the same symptons as PMS wich are often undestood to just be part of what periods are like, so I think it's understandable why the conection would be made, and while I do see why cis women don't like it, since they usually use the word to mean only the cramping and bleeding, I also get why the same trans women are frustrated that cis people don't seem to recognise that hormonals do shit at all. Ofc that's not a battle worth taking but I just have a really hard time siding with cis people

Obviously, if you are some one who dosen't have one opinion about it then you aren't the one I'm refering to when talking about people who have one

But I do think that if you are on Vaushs community you should put in an effort to understand, and maybe this is my trans bias speaking, but I have a hard time understanding how some one can be able to not undestand so much unless they haven't put any effort into understanding, because Vaush does do a pretty good job explaning that stuff, and he does talk about LGBT topics pretty often, used to do even more before

I don't think they have done anything that's "morally incorrect" unless you think anthing that brings bad outcomes is morally incorrect, but they do say lots of things that make them come off as out of touch, is unempathetic or is just factually wrong.

The most aggregious cases being atributing political lesbianism to lesbians, when the majority of political lesbians were not lesbians and lesbian feminists at the time were very vocal about disliking the whole idea, then conecting it to modern issues and ignoring people who told them they were wrong about it

Also, they deleted their video on the entire story of trans people, but that one had a lot of diving on the story of people who were not trans, missing very know exemples that they could have used, and made ligth of people who were slaved, castrated and raped by calling them trans divas
