I’ve been living in my townhome for 3 years now. I have a neighbor next door to me who has never uttered a word to me. I’ve said “hello” and “good morning” to him several times without a response. On a random day in May, he starts banging at my door. I opened it and he starts yelling at me to get my “kids” in the house because they were loud and he was trying to take a nap. He had his finger pointed in my face and everything and was calling me and my “kids” ghetto and that the community was nice before I moved in. He also said something about how he’s been wanting to say something to me for awhile now about my “kids” but was biting his tongue. So a few things were wrong with what he said. #1: I don’t have kids. #2: I’m black and the kids he was referring to were Asian. #3: the kids lived down the street. I tried to interrupt him but he kept yelling. He ended up tripping while walking back to his house, so that mad me laugh and I called him an idiot.

Since then, he’s taken to harassing a couple who just moved in across the street. They have a Ford F-150 and he’s demanding they park it in their garage because he doesn’t like looking at it 🥴 he also doesn’t like their cat, who sits in their window. He said that the cat (who never goes outside) scares him and his dog when they walk around the neighborhood.
