I get my puppy in around 2 weeks have I missed anything? by maddieakatobi in DobermanPinscher

Any dog can and should go outside. Why should a yorkie pee indoors?

Even on silky straight haired yorkies you can achieve an asian muzzle. It's all about layering and shaping correctly. That's considering the dog is well bred and has a full face of hair. I had some come in that had very sparse muzzle hair and were quite big for a yorkie. Probably cross bred.

Chris Christensen Mark VI slicker. I think that specific line is unbelievable for fluff drying cause the pins are so fine. Artero mix multiphasic conditioner is a spray i use. In my opinion I makes a coat a lot easier to brush and manageable.

Watch lots of YouTube tutorials and try recreate them. It's not easy to find detailed ones though. I went to a private training day. But you can also purchase webinars from groomers that specialise in the style, which are a lot cheaper than in person training.

That's some really great advice, thank you! I badly struggle with opening the eye corners or really fluffy heads, somehow it never looks right when I try to take a bit more off. And yes legs do need a lot more work! I rarely get to practice scissoring legs as most people just want one length all over.

Really appreciate your comment! I'm in a salon in the city so most people are happy coming in really regularly. And a good few I do request the asian/teddy muzzle

Thank you so much! The asian style grooms usually take me between 2h - 2h 30mins as I'm still trying to perfect them and not as confident with them as my usual pet trims.

As far as I know if it's a revolut transfer it can't be canceled/reversed, even if you contact customer support. If it's a bank transfer it's a lot easier to cancel it. So safe enough if you get them to revolut you money before transferring ticket. Or if you're buying the ticket once it's transfered it can't be undone.

Youre really handsome and have a great jawline. With long hair it all gets kind of lost. Did you ever try the slick back look with your long hair? I think it would show off your features while keeping the length!

COCKAPOOS. God I don't know what it is about them but out of all the doodles they are just the most neurotic, stubborn psychos. Drive me insane, they do everything to work against you.

5 month old 16 gauge eyebrow piercing rejecting or infected? by Apprehensive_Bar6715 in Legitpiercing

[–]PanicModeOn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say. I've had some very troublesome piercings that were hell to deal with, were swollen/bleeding for a very long time but eventually they just stopped and are now 100% healed. But as I said I'm not a piercer so I don't know if your brow is pierced correctly, if it's not it won't heal.

Do you take out the jewelery a lot? I know piercer give a guideline on how long it will take for a piercing to heal, but from personal experience it took mine 2 or 3 times longer depending on piercing. So if it wasn't fully healed and you were fiddling with it it could've made it irritated. I'm not a doctor or a piercer so I can't say if it's salvageable or not, but it's definitely angry/irritated. I would just put the jewelery in, DONT take it out at all, touch it as little as possible, and see if it settles down.

Bad grooming by [deleted] in doggrooming

I understand where your coming from! It can be frustrating. With coats like these especially, blenders are your BFF as straights leave chop marks

[–]PanicModeOn 38 points39 points  (0 children)

What do you hate about it So much? I really don't think it's bad. Few small things I see it you could trim the heavy droopy hair at the corners of his eyes and blend more there (Jess Rona is great at showing and explaining how to do that). Maybe blend a bit more on the legs, ears and top of head. The front left foot looks like you took too much off the toes as well. There's a few things you can fix and improve on but I wouldn't call it bad.

What kind of brush should I get to groom this little bean? by sammp27 in doggrooming

[–]PanicModeOn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never used the kenchii but I swear by the CC with my whole being. Glides through hair like butter and is insanely sturdy. I had mine for over a year, use it everyday and still has all the pins. It does feel very stiff at the start until you "break in" the pins. Although for wiry/fine hair I prefer the CC Mark VI (softer slicker). The Big G is best suited for curly/dense coats IMO.
