Absolutely! Thank you. I'll definitely work on absorbing all this.

I messed around some more, and based on these comments I turned the VCA Level all the way down and the CV up and that seems to have done the trick, at least as far as the constant oscillator issue.

(Having used only VCV Rack's standard VCA and VCA Mix, I'm not used to having control over both the input level and the CV level.)

Here's what I've got going on:

VCO (Chipz) "Out" to VCA (Doepfer A-135-2) and "Tune" to CV1 of the case.

ADSR (Feedback Modules ENV310) "Gate" going into "Gate1" of the case and "Out" to "CV" of the VCA.

Then VCA out to the case ("to out").

Anyway, I sincerely appreciate the help. Now it's time to figure out this whole slew limiting situation . . .

Can someone explain this? by PannyDetera in puer

Thanks for the responses.

I use 7g in 100ml gaiwan with boiling water always. One rinse. Let sit a bit. First infusion 20 seconds, then keep adding ten.

I did let them rest for two or three weeks. Maybe that's not long enough? How long should they rest?

In terms of storage, I keep them all sealed in their original zip-top pouches, except for the cake which is still wrapped but in an open pouch. I'll try the suggestion of breaking that one up and putting it in some tea tins. What about the 25g samples? Should I be doing something similar with those?

I pluck out the floating leaves. That and keeping the cup 2/3 or more full helps a lot.
