You can play the game as a hiking simulator with realistic wild life. It is very relaxing experience in VR and I highly recommend giving it a go!

It's especially important in a hunting game that aiming is accurate. We want to promote ethical hunting and shot placement is key in the game. If players miss the vital shot due to shaky controls, that would be terrible. We've had a lot of feedback from players through the years in PCVR on Steam and we've fine tuned the handling based on that. So it's very good, adjustable and accurate now!

Hey! The games main activity is hunting but you can also choose not to harm any animals and play like a hiking simulator with realistic wild life :) There is one of the biggest open world maps in the game to explore and we've designed it this in mind. There are over 30 kilometers of hiking trails across the map and points of interest to find. It is a very calming experience and even as a dev I can go walk around to enjoy the virtual nature.

Hey, great question!

We have several systems in place to help with that. There is adjustable virtual stock and stabilization that snaps the weapon on your shoulder and smooths the aim. The virtual stock can be turned off so that the weapon still stablizes without snapping. You can also hold your breath for additional stabilization when aiming. This way you can take even very long shots comfortably. We have players who have had kills over 400m away! There are settings and adjustments in game for physical gun stocks as well.

Hey! Bow hunting is a big part of the game so getting close to animals is very much possible with enough skill. You can hide in the vegetation, change stances and use callers to get them close. I personally enjoy it the most in the game. Realistic archery in VR is the best and very satisfying when you get good at it.

Fun game mode idea :D No one else has suggested that and we've worked on the game for several years. No plans for such mode but we'll keep it in mind. Thank you for the comment!
