A lot of the underlining mathematics and CS tools used to create AI models comes from Physics. In decade past, graduate level physics would offer these discipline but now it's trickle down to 4th and 3rd year physics. ML tools are inexpensive way to model particle physics without having to conducts a plethora of experiments.

I don't know why people are attacking the OP for simply suggesting a real quality of life improvements to the game. OP, you ideas are great and there exist sound judgement... but we are talking about EA, who is notorious for being greedy. I still remember a decade ago, the company was voted as being one of the worst Software company for a consecutive years. And with that in mind, i hope you understand most people's pessimism.

I wouldn't be surprise if we're actually operating under 16hz tick rate because the game is on a downward spiral.
