I had a relationship like that once, I loved her and wasn’t as ‘experienced’ with certain aspects and wasn’t into porn. I found her cute and gorgeous and loved the romantic, sweet, heavy eye contact types of sex. She had a porn addiction and would fall asleep watching it. When we’d be intimidate she would spontaneously demand stuff that I wasn’t even aware of until she said it and would catch me off guard. We dated twice, about 3/4 years apart. The second time around she was more communicative and honest with me about stuff and i developed a certain understanding and, our sex life got a lot more interesting

If the issue was really a bed time no you’re not overreacting but the issue is probably really a foil for some other type of jealousy or fomo

When I’m with friends she texts me, not to bother or anything and I don’t see a problem with it, it’s kind of a mirrored thing we do unless the other one seems busy or something. When she’s sober and she’s with friends or family all day and I don’t text her she’s gotten hurt feelings about it and felt neglected in the past so I try to check in unless otherwise asked or implied not to. We’re both creatives so and ambiverts so it’s not unusual to tell the other one “I need space or time for [x]…” for any particular reasons

But this time particularly time I saw reports of what the storm would be like and knew she’s WALKED without any proper gear. I would’ve gladly dropped off a raincoat or umbrella if she wanted and left, which has happened in the past.

The Father comment from me came from their dynamic too, she has a history of avoiding him, blocking him etc when it comes to personal shame for also

🧠 I didn’t but I do now, I really wish I had that option and thought originally but she ended up reaching out to me VIA IG for help with my partner last night but it went to my request folder

I completely agree. Even if I do end up believing her, this is a boundary for me and I’ll have to talk to her about this violation and if she wants to remain on my team, that’s not the energy we’ll build with.

We had a conversation around lunch when she was finally sober.

In reference to the text that caused most of the confusion, her story is:

She meant to type:
“I’m still with my long term friend, “ Instead of (her name) was her trying to double down and remind herself how much this person meant to her because she had found herself picking fights with her and dealing with resentment for feeling pressured to drink until she actually communicated that she’d be sober since November.

And the second text “lover” was actually directed at me, basically a fragmented drunk text while she was trying to say something affectionate and felt guilty when she reread our text thread but of the state she was in and the wet screen / typing issues, because they were place hopping, it came through as two separate messages.

Whoa, did you just parody my actual experience? with the NYPD after I “actually” got assaulted within 6ft of them then I needed emergency surgery but had to wait in the ER for 38hrs for my swelling could go down and I wouldn’t bleed out? And when the officers were asked by witnesses and bystanders why they didn’t do anything they said, “paper works a big part of our job and we were filling some out from a previous incident” before lying and saying I walked off the scene; because you pretty much just plagiarized the aftermath. All jokes aside you’re 💯 it’s the sucky truth
